How does the Elos Plus laser work?
The Elos Plus is a multi-application platform that is used to treat a variety of skin care concerns; everything from acne scars, wrinkles, stretch marks, unwanted hair and vascular lesions can be easily, and noninvasively, removed. Elos Plus uses the combined technology of optical energies and bi-polar (RF) radio frequency, which can both be used at low energies, reducing the risk of epidermal damage while still delivering effective results. This revolutionary system also has dual heating capabilities, which are used to raise the target temperature while maintaining epidermal protection. Elos Plus also includes a unique integrated cooling feature, ensuring each client is optimally comfortable.
What can be treated with the Elos Plus Laser?
A large variety of skin care concerns can be treated with the Elos Plus multi-application system.
It is able to comfortably and effectively treat acne, acne scars, beard bumps (PFB), unwanted hair (laser hair removal), facial/spider veins, pigmented lesions, rosacea, stretch marks, wrinkles and vascular lesions. Elos Plus can also offer effective skin treatments, such as fractional resurfacing, sublative rejuvenation, and sublime skin contouring.
What can you expect?
The Elos Plus laser offers safe and effective treatments suitable for all skin types and skin tones, delivering effective and noticeable results each and every time. To achieve the most effective results, clients are recommended to follow their skin care professional’s specific timelines; however, consistent treatments spaced an average of three to four weeks apart will inevitably yield optimal results.
What procedures can the Elos Plus perform?
SR/SRA Treatment – The SR and SRA applicators are used with the Elos Plus platform to treat benign pigmented and vascular lesions. The temperature of the targeted pigmented area absorbs the light energy and the radio-frequency flows to the heated area to provide an overall improvement in skin appearance.
Sublime Treatment – Sublime treatments treat wrinkles in a non-invasive capacity, leaving the client with virtually no downtime or side effects. This procedure is used to increase the collagen production with immediate and long term firmness.
AC for Acne Treatment – Elos Plus combined energies selectively target the problem areas with acne present and destroy the active bacteria within the skin cells. Elos Plus’ AC for Acne Treatment will leave your face feeling smooth, clear and free from blemishes.
Sublative Skin Resurfacing Treatment – Sublative treatments are used to increase the amount of collagen and elastin with minimal epidermal disruption. This process leads to a smoother, rejuvenated appearance and a significant reduction in wrinkles, skin irregularities, and stretch marks.
Motif LHR and HR Laser Hair Removal Treatment – Motif LHR and HR applicators are used for laser hair removal in order to achieve permanent hair reduction on all skin types. What is the difference between the Motif LHR and the Motif HR applicator? The LHR uses a combination of the Diode laser and radio frequency energy and the HR uses a combination of broadband light and radio frequency energy. Both applicators will ensure successful follicle removal in a pain free manner.
What do I do post-treatment?
It is recommended to avoid direct or extended sun exposure throughout the duration of your series of Elos Plus treatments. If sun exposure cannot be avoided, sunscreen should be applied to protect the skin from the sun as it will be extremely sensitive the week following your treatments. We also recommend that you refrain from receiving any invasive facial treatments, such as microdermabrasion or exfoliation during the immediate weeks following your treatment. This will help to avoid any post-treatment discomfort, swelling or redness.
